Take it Easy Day: Baby Spinach Pasta with Turkish Yogurt

Sometimes I'll just rush to see the pictures of the food being mentioned in the blog post. (Sometimes?) No, Most of the time. Always! Visuality comes first for me. I need to be able to smell, and almost taste the food just by the looks of it. Then comes the curiosity for the recipe, cooking method, ingredients... Since it's Monday though; I've got no recipe! Today I just want to take it easy with that, and go with pictures with little notes attached. It's not a complicated dish anyway. Nutritious and delicious... how about those? Check, and check. Enjoy!

  1. Mmmm, really nice dinner here. The yogurt is a great addition that's healthy and not as caloric as sour cream or heavy cream. We've got to experiment more with yogurt. And you're on our blog roll!

  3. Chrystal, cream and the like never once have been a part of my life as I grew up. Cream was a fancy ingredient in my mind and I guess it still is. Turkish people are yogurt fans! When I was in the US, I'd notice vast amount of cream types as opposed to yogurt... In Turkey it's the opposite. I'll make seperate post for you about the yogurt use ideas one of these days.



    LouAnn, indeed it took me 25 min I think. For some reason I'll favor the easy to cook, practical dishes highly.

    I love the pictures and step by step naration too ;) This recipe sounds super healthy.. btw what is turkey yogurt.. is it any differnt from the normal plain yogurt? Pl Let me know I want to try this recipe ;)

  7. Ann - it's you! You have so much delicious stuff, so I'm the first follower to your blog.

    Hmm. Well, I'm not sure if I can be objective about the difference of Turkish yogurt. I'm such a fan... Even here in Turkey, the taste will vary in different brands.

    I'm guessing you don't have access to Turkish yogurt, so you could go for plain yogurt as a substitute indeed. Though whenever you get the chance, try ours ;)

    Actually I was lucky enough to find a brand that tasted good while abroad. It must've been Greek, I think. So yes, go for it please!
